*Śrī Devi Mahatmyam* also known as *Śrī Durgā Saptaśatī* _(as per Kātyāyanī Tantra – Southern Version)_ Complete Chanting by *Dr. Giridharan. U.R.* Chanting of the most sacred Hymn Śrī Devī Māhātmyam or Śrī Durgā Saptaśatī on all days, and especially during the holy season of Navarātri, is felicitous in appeasing the Supreme Goddess, Śrī Durgā Bhagavati. But since this long Hymn is in Sanskrit, many may find it challenging to articulate the verses correctly. Probably, it is due to this reason that a mention is made in the twelfth chapter of Śrī Devī Māhātmyam as the utterance of the Supreme Goddess Herself that a mere *“listening“* to the chant of this Hymn is more than adequate to earn Her blessings.
