Band: Lipid Songtitel: ‘The Perfect Killing Machine’ from the upcoming album ‘The Perfect Killing Machine’. Track used in intro: Dressed In Fear from Lipids 1997 EP 'LIPID'. Video directed, recorded and edited by Michael Haick (Shaick) & Nicolai Dam Pedersen. Video produced by SHAICK Productions. This track is inspired by the true events of Dr. Harold Frederick Shipman, also known as Dr. Death by the public. In 2000 Shipman was convicted for killing 15 of his patients, but after the trial it was proved that the body count of his victims was much higher – at least 215 victims were killed by the doctor through the seventies, eighties and nineties. His most used method of killing was giving his patients a drug overdose. Shipman committed suicide in prison in 2004. He is considered one of the most active serial killers in our time and was indeed A Perfect Killing Machine. Lyrics: A godlike figure on a mission to kill And take tomorrow away Release of total pain Another patient slain Made up notes, an expert in death Made to be mean Sadistic state of mind The perfect killing machine THE PERFECT KILLING MACHINE What has been done will be done again The darkest of a soul Broken beyond repair A heart made of coal All that has been, soon will be again As history repeats The anger of a patient man His deadly plan complete THE PERFECT KILLING MACHINE Only the dead has seen the end of life To some – incomplete But roots of evil grew And the doctor knew The strange feeling of knowing the truth Made him go insane Bringer of total pain The final patient slain THE PERFECT KILLING MACHINE
