Guys, the secret is out. Middle Earth is real, and it's in Switzerland. Really though. Lauterbrunnen Valley inspired . Tolkien's Rivendell, and the Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau are Middle Earth's Misty Mountains. As a huge #LOTR fan myself, hiking through this region, in Tolkien's footsteps is the closest to being in a fantasy world as I'll ever get. There was also a cave near Interlaken that supposedly was once a home to dragons... AND THEN, THERE WAS THE MATTERHORN. I long for the day we can return an
