I am happy to share this Fantasia Originale written by Johann Kaspar Mertz, that is not so well-known and very often played. Mertz was born in Bratislava, lived between years 1806-1856. During his life he was active like composer and player in whole Europe. His composition style is influenced by romantic piano composers and by bel canto style of Rossini.
