Steve Smith and Vital Information: Mr. T.C.

The Vital Information line-up with Frank Gambale, Tom Coster and Baron Browne was one of the strongest editions of the group. Mr. T.C. was written by Tom “Mr. T.C.“ Coster for Vital Information using his ideas of melding fusion/funk feels with straight-ahead jazz. Mr. T.C. was always fun and challenging to play and a great way to start a show. This performance is from my Hudson Music video Drumset Technique/History of the U.S. Beat.
