The YETI Xtreme Verbier confirmed for Friday, March 22, 2024. Live broadcast will start at 9:45 AM CET - 2:45 AM MDT. The YETI Xtreme Verbier has been confirmed for this Friday, March 22, marking the final event of an incredible 2024 FWT by Peak Performance season. Competition will therefore happen one day ahead of the scheduled weather window, as high winds and snowfalls are predicted afterwards, with no clear window in the following week. Organizers have concluded that Friday looks like the safest and best option for competition, with calm winds and only a thin cloud layer predicted. In an exciting development, Ski and Snowboard Men can drop from the top of the Bec des Rosses for the first time since 2018, while the Ski and Snowboard Women will start from the Petit Bec. Conditions over the last five years have been challenging – rendering the top of the mountain unsafe for freeride competition – but riders will return to the peak this year, providing some of the most technical and exposed terrain in any freeride competition on the planet. This will prove especially daunting for some of the younger, less experienced athletes on the roster, who will surely be feeling the added pressure of competing in the biggest freeride event on the calendar, on the most iconic freeride face, in the FWT Finals. #fwt #livestream #XtremeVerbier For more Freeride World Tour videos, visit Follow the FWT: @freeridewtour
