Another ride in the Eastern Sierras, this time down Onion Valley. The road starts at 9000ft curls down to the desert below. I had my road bike with me but wanted to hit one of the big road descents on the new Addict Gravel. I knew this bike was fast and wanted to see what it could do with some fast wide slicks on. There was a tailwind being sucked down to the heat below providing plenty of speed, but with so many hairpins it wasn't always smooth sailing. Add in 2 inch wide road cracks, loose rocks, cattle grates, serious exposure, and buckets of speed... well, a lot could go wrong. The SCOTT Addict Gravel handled business.
