No titles. Outwood, Surrey. Various shots show George Sadler and his Alsatian dog, Silver. When Silver lost the use of one of her legs through paralysis, coupled with a weakened spine, George invented a special contraption for her so she can get around. We see George fitting the device onto Silver. It looks like a harness with wheels attached that is strapped to Silver's back. George puts her bad paw into a sock and places it in a little container on the back of the 'wheelchair'. The pair then go off for a walk. At the village shop they meet Mrs Sadler with another Alsatian, Vince. Silver takes Mrs Sadler's basket in her mouth and walks along with it. Final shots show Silver and Vince going for a romp across a field together (sniff! What a tearjerker). Note: small news cutting on file. FILM ID: A VIDEO FROM BRITISH PATHÉ.
