Void of Light is a six-piece post-metal outfit from Glasgow, Scotland. Brutal and atmospheric, the band make use of three guitar players to create an interplay of heavy riffs and epic soundscapes. Bolstered by a formidable bass presence and aggressive drumming with a strong extreme metal influence, Void of Light merges tightly arranged songs with dynamic vocals to create immersive and monumental post-metal. ==== Main influences include Cult of Luna, Neurosis, and ISIS. The debut self-titled album was recorded and mixed by the band’s guitarist Nick Collins, with drums recorded by D.P. Johnson at local studio The Audio Lounge.
