State Department issues 'Worldwide Caution' alert for American citizens after U.S. strikes on Iran

The United States Department of State issued a “Worldwide Caution“ alert for American citizens on Sunday following the United States strikes against Iranian nuclear sites. I the alert, the State Department said: “Worldwide Caution: The conflict between Israel and Iran has resulted in disruptions to travel and periodic closure of airspace across the Middle East.  There is the potential for demonstrations against U.S. citizens and interests abroad. The Department of State advises U.S. citizens worldwide to exercise increased caution.“ President Trump announced the attacks Saturday evening via social media and held an address to the nation detailing the operation shortly after.
