In the trailer pump competition they assume a bomb has struck a house, so bring out a dummy woman and put her on a stretcher, then work to put out the fire with hoses. We then see the men 'tilting the bucket' (poking a bucket of water with a pole while being pushed underneath it in a wheelbarrow). A line of firemen are handed prize cups by a smartly-dressed lady.
