This video, by Randy Hunter at breaks down 3 “Must-Know“ major chord patterns for jazz saxophone or anyone learning to play jazz. You'll likely recognize the sounds of these patterns from improvised solos by many of your favorite jazz musicians. These patterns can be used on major 7, major 6, major 9, and just plain major chords. One alteration would also make them playable on major 7#11 chords, but we will discuss that in a future lesson. You can find the downloadable written file on the Free Extras page of my website at , or just visit the website and send me an e mail from the Contact page. I always enjoy hearing from folks.
