On January 12, 2023, a new shipment of upgraded T-90M Proryy main battle tanks was supplied by Uralvagonzavod, a Russian tank manufacturer, to the Russian armed forces. As revealed by the Defense Ministry of Russia in late February, these tanks were utilized in active combat scenarios against Ukrainian forces stationed at the frontline.
