THE STRANGLERS - Surrey University, Guildford (19/10/78) - COMPLETE & CLEAN STEREO

This is the best quality version of The Stranglers show at Surrey University currently available, uploaded from my place just two minutes walk from where they played their first ever show. The footage I've used here was mostly uploaded by YouTuber STEVE DINSDALE but I have taken Ugly from an upload by LEEDSOK1 (as it doesn't have the timestamp on it) and Hanging Around from SCOTTISH TEEVEE (likewise). I have used the original stereo mixing desk recording and cleaned the sound so it's better than ever before, and hiss-free. I've then synchronised that to the surviving footage (not easy when the mixing desk recording was made on tape and is therefore not exactly the same speed). It's as complete as you'll probably ever find it. Bear with it as the first and last few minutes have no known surviving film. If you're going to give me an upvote, please do so for the original video uploaders as well as I wouldn't have been able to do this without their efforts.
