This fast-motion video shows a pyrography portrait by Minisa Robinson. It was burned by hand with the Walnut Hollow Creative Versa-Tool wood-burner and the shading point. A touch of white colored pencil was added after the burn for extra highlights. This portrait took me about 11 hours to burn and it is on an 8x10 inch piece of basswood. The blue glove shown is a simple gardening glove from my hardware store. It helps protect my hand against accidental burns and offers a low level of heat protection. T
