World's First Catch-and-Hold Auto Belay: TRUBLUE iQ+

Now, even when alone, you can project routes. The TRUBLUE iQ enables you to “work a route” without a belay partner by catching and holding you in position if you fall or let go. If you fall and your “hang time” exceeds the preset timer, which is programmed by the gym and ranges between 15 to 30 seconds, the catch-and-hold functionality will timeout and slowly lower you to the ground. You can also continue climbing at any time. You may fall, hang and resume climbing an unlimited number of times so long as the hang time does not exceed the preset limit programmed by the gym. You can turn on and off catch-and-hold technology using touch sensitive buttons at the bottom and top of the climbing route. If not activated, TRUBLUE iQ functions as a normal auto belay.
