As we prepare for SpaceX Starship's first test flight we look back to booster 7's 31 Raptor engine static fire. Filmed at over 2,100 frames per second, an slowing of real-time (then sped up ~2x for this upload), watch as individual clusters of raptors fire and envelope the orbital launch mount. I wish the FireX water system didn't obscure and scatter so much brightness. Excited to capture these raptors leaving the OLM, unobscured... soon! Coming soon.
