Local Heroes Help Ukrainian Cities Recover From Russian War Crimes

Staryi Saltiv is a village in Kharkiv region of Ukraine that was de-occupied in May last year. The settlement has already started to recover after atrocities of the Russian army. Today, more and more local residents are returning home after evacuation. To make the village safer, local authorities introduced a new initiative to involve a community police officer. After a competitive selection process, law enforcers are now serving there around the clock.
