Southern California and the Central Coast are beginning to dry out and clean up from a powerful Pacific storm that brought record rainfall to some areas on Tuesday Jan. 10, 2023. Roadways were flooded or washed out entirely by debris and mud. Rainfall amounted to more than four inches in the Los Angeles metropolitan area, nearly 10 inches in Montecito and more than 12” at higher elevations in Ventura County.
