Make Fedora/Western Style Hat with Wired Structure AT HOME / Adopted From Buckram Hat Technique

I tried to make a hat with wired structure using tools and materials you can find easily. I used Pellon sew-in interfacing I found at Joann instead of millinery double buckram, which is traditionally used for hat-making but hard to find (for a reasonable price and good quality). (*single buckram technique is more about wetting the sized buckram and shaping it on a wooden mold, but this video is inspired more from stiff structured top-hats that use double buckram) This is not a quick DIY, but if you are patient, the result is very satisfying :) If you make a hat using my tutorials, please tag me @sachidonguri on instagram so I can see your creation! 🎥Related Videos🎥 Make your own fedora hat pattern: Copy existing hats easily: 🦋Social🦋 My website: Instagram: 🎀Materials🎀 Fabric(different color): Petersham Ribbon: Millinery Wire (light): Millinery Wire (heavy): Pellon Stabilizer: Thread: Button Thread: ⚙️Tools I use⚙️ Seam Roller : Sliding Seam Guide: Transparent ruler: Sewing Machine: Mini Iron: *some of the links above are affiliated links.
