Jordan’s King Abdullah II has been filmed participating in an airdrop operation which dispatched aid over Gaza on Tuesday. According to the Jordanian military, three aircraft from Jordan took part in the operation, alongside three other aircraft from the UAE, Egypt and France. Brigadier General Mustafa Hiyari, a spokesman for the Jordan military, said that plans were in place to expand the air drops with the participation of other countries. ‘Intensifying the air drops is a result of the worsening humanitarian conditions of the civilian population of Gaza that threatens famine and hunger,’ said Hiyari.
