Music from the Barren Wasteland: Platform of Youth were a San Antonio Texas post-punk band formed in 1981. Members were all between the ages of 15-17. Recorded at Toby Torres studio, famous as the home of conjunto stars Flaco Jimenez and Nick Villareal, this track was produced by the band and Mannequin bassist Steve Sanchez. It was to appear on the never released compilation “Music from the Barren Wasteland“. By 1983 they had morphed into Lung Overcoat. More Lung Overcoat music, photos and info at:
