France / Plouneour Brigognan-Plages. Lighthouse of Pontusval. Located in the new municipality of Plounéour-Brignogan-Plages, it is now one of the must-see gems of the Côte des Légendes. Built in the second half of the 19th century in the town of Plounéour-Brignogan-plages, the Pontusval lighthouse serves as a relay between the lighthouses of Île Vierge and Île de Batz. Classified as Historical Monuments, it stretches over fourteen meters in height and has more than fifty meters to reach the lantern. Installed at the tip of Beg-Pol, it was spared the destruction of WWII, thus retaining its original charm.
