This is the Voice Piano Arrangement of the Famous German Composer, Johannes Brahms. Theo Wangemann, A Representative from Edison’s Phonograph Company, made this Recording on a Wax Cylinder, in the apartment of Dr. Felinger in Vienna(one of Brahms’ best friend.), on December 2nd(Some claims 17th), 1889. Brahms made a short introduce comments, Saying “Haus von Doktor Felinger, I am Doktor Brahms, Johannes Brahms.“ Then He plays his “Hungarian Dance No.1“. Though extremely fragile, the recording has been preserved, and later it was transferred from the original wax cylinder to 78rpm Disc. A Real Historical Document.
