Redhill, probably Surrey. Picturesque shot of Dorothy Ward in a garden. She walks along followed by a group of young girls. We see them framed through an archway. “Six little Sunbeams - dancing in the sun.“ L/S of the girls dancing in a circle in the woods. Dorothy leads them along and under the archway. L/S of Dorothy standing beside a tree instructing the girls in their dancing. L/S of Dorothy and the “Dots“ dancing through a field of daffodils. “The fragrant south wind. Swaying daffodils amid the grass, And tiny fingers plucking Before the sunbeams pass“ L/S of the dancers in a pretty woodland setting. They walk towards the camera with linked arms. Dorothy holds a bunch of flowers. Dorothy hands out flowers to the girls. No nice C/Us. Was an Eve's Film Review item - issue unknown. Note: Dorothy Ward was a dancer in many shows and cabarets of the 1920s. She was particular famous for her sexy “Apache“ dancing. FILM ID:998.2 A VIDEO FROM BRITISH PATHÉ. EXPLORE OUR ONLINE CHANNE
