If you suffer from swollen legs and edema, this video may help you to feel better.♥︎ Edema is swelling caused by too much fluid trapped in the body's tissues. With the right exercises, you can reduce the swellings and make your legs look smooth and healthy! This video has 2 parts: We begin with some exercises to improve blood and lymphatic circulation and finish with a leg massage (lymphatic drainage). The massage technique is a light skin stretch, using very little pressure. The porpose is to promote lymph fluid drainage out of the swollen area toward healthy lymph nodes. You can wear your compression garments (if you have some). ▪️ Recommendations: • You can do this workout on a daily basis, anytime you need and want to. • If you suffer from lipedema/lymphedema or severe swellings, you can repeat the massage (lymphatic drainage) part and massage each leg for 5 minutes. ▪️ Please Note: This video provides a synopsis of self manual lymph drainage and exercise. It is not intended to be used by patients without proper, individualized instructions from an healthcare professional.
