Here we’re performing a composition that was written by one of the most talented Russian guitar players of a new generation Евгений Побожий (Evgeny Pobozhiy). I was very honored to be asked by him to play this song, because he’s an absolute monster. When Евгений asked me who we could invite to play on drums, my answer was obvious - of course Gergo Borlai. Furthermore me and Gergo had some clinics in Samara at the time and I didn’t want to miss an opportunity to record and film this song with him. It was pretty tight though, we had just 6 hours between the flights. So I picked up Gergo from the airport in Moscow at midnight, then we went to the studio, literally READ this song from charts, since we didn’t have time to really prepare ourselves in advance, and after we went back to the same airport to catch our next flight to Samara at 6 am.
