Strict Tempo broadcasts Thursday nights at 7pm Pacific @ with visuals by UXRA Textbeak, is an American DJ, artist, and record producer. He has been making and DJing dark electronic music for many years and appears regularly on several live-streaming events including a monthly residency with Club Requiem (Oakland), regular appearances on Noir Frequencies (Tucson), and a new monthly residency for Strict Tempo (Seattle). Influenced by artists like Coil, Cabaret Voltaire, and Skinny Puppy, in the late 80s he began making music with whatever he had on hand in projects with long time friend Todd Sines (Planet E, Peacefrog). In 1991 Mike moved to Columbus, Ohio with a Roland W-30 and Todd Sines and joined up with Titonton Duvante (Residual Records) and Charles Noel aka Archetype (Ongaku, Black Nation) to start B/Re (Body Release).
