Mankind, in a “collective“ way, turns its libido towards something different from both the reproductive organs and other parts of the body as in the case of traditional paraphilia. This sort of global libido seems paradoxically directed towards destruction and self-destruction. The apocalypse is interpreted as a sort of historical stage after the erotic satisfaction, a gigantic and monstrous post-coitum soon after the total annihilation.
