A stop motion tutorial of an origami dodecahedron using 30 PHiZZ units. Similar to sonobe units, 3 units come together at each point. For the 30-unit model, each “face“ of the structure is a pentagon consisting of 5 units. The paper I used in this video is Staples memo cube paper (3.4 in. x 3.4 in.). PHiZZ (Pentagon-Hexagon Zig-Zag) units, invented by Thomas Hull, are a great introduction into modular origami!
