Bartholomew J. Simpson here, with a very important secrets: Space mutants are invading Springfield. That's right man! A buncha slimy, horrible, totally gross and putrid monsters are taking over the bodies of the people who live here and they wanna build a weapon that's gonna take over the entire planet! PReTTy CoOL, HUh! Anyway, yours truly is the only one who can see em! I've gotta spraypaint things, get radical on my skateboard, use my trusty slingshot, and in general behave like a nuisance, man. Plus, with evil dudes like Nelson the bully and Sideshow Bob getting in my way, it's a good thing I’ve got the rest of the Simpsons to help me out! So if youre a decent person, a patriot, and somebody who cares about this sorry planet, youlll do the right thing. SAVE THE EARTH, BUy THiS GaME! Thanks man.“ A fairly well done conversion of the Space Mutants game. It plays better than the C64 version due to better controls and better collision detection (but by no means perfect). This version looks and plays as good as you would expect from a Spectrum game and overall feels like more time was spent on it than the C64 version and even included the interlude screens. Their are still some minor issues though. I could not make the pay phone work at the start of the game. The interlude screens have some gfx corruption. I'm using the 3 disk version here, but it is the same on the tape version. The corruption looks a little different on the original 128k. For some reason no Aliens showed up in level 3 so I could not collect the Lisa bonus. There are numerous other little differences but most importantly, there is at least an end screen. 00:00:00 Intro/Title screen 00:01:10 Level 1 00:07:12 Level 2 00:13:25 Level 3 00:16:38 Level 4 00:21:48 Level 5 - Disclaimer: Most videos by World of Longplays use SaveStates!
