Shalie D. Lipp, according to the Minnesota State Patrol, was a passenger in a Chevy Malibu that was involved in a fatal crash at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday while travelling east on Interstate 94 across the Red River Bridge, which links Minnesota and North Dakota. According to the State Patrol’s investigation, a Chevy Malibu driven by a 35-year-old male from West Fargo “made contact“ with a Jeep Cherokee that was also heading east on the bridge. The Chevy Malibu’s driver, along with both of the Jeep Cherokee’s occupants, were all restrained and sustained no injuries. According to the official report on the collision, Lipp was not wearing a safety belt. The cause of the crash is still being examined.
