Dr. Chidi Ugwu joins Rudolf Okonkwo in an interview on 90MinutesAfrica. He speaks about the University of Nigeria Nsukka and purpose for which it was established. Dr. Chidi holds a PhD. in health anthropology. He has taught anthropology and qualitative methods at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, since 2011 and has been guest-lecturer at the University of Melbourne's School of Population and Global Health since 2017. He is a fellow of the African Humanities Program and the Institute for Advanced Study at Harvard University. His research interests are around the asymmetries of knowledge and power, and to highlight these, he explores the landscapes of public health, politics, and religion.
