Note: Location of the events unknown. Full titles read: “ON THIN ICE - A Pathetone Novelty, Winter, winter - when the snow is softly falling. (But just a mirage produced by the clever 'process camera'.) L/S's of several skaters performing on an ice rink, snow is falling (presumably it is fake ?). A closer look however, reveals that there are actually only two skaters on the ice, the others have been created by trick photography. Intertitle reads: “Some folk find it easy to cut a name for themselves - on ice.“ L/S's of the lady and gentleman skating elegantly on the rink, there is a pretty backdrop of a sunrise in the background. Several more shots of the pair skating, including some more trick photography in which, the reflection of the skaters in the ice is not moving in time with the moves they are making.
