Me performing this “older“ song by Sylosis, “The Blackest Skyline“ from the album “Conclusion of an Age“! It was probably one of the first songs that I heard by them, and part of what made me fall in love with this band! So I have been playing it all since, and wanted to perform it for a long time too! The song is also not “that hard“, at least for me, even though it has a nice intensity and great melodic phrasing, almost with some metalcore-ish riffs. The inspiration for recording it, came quite sudden, so I didn’t prepare much, other than doing like 8 takes over the different tracks, and I was sweating like a pig through the whole ordeal! Even though it is only 4 degrees outside, it is still very hot in this room, as the sun bakes on it the whole day! Hope you enjoyed it, as much as I enjoyed making it! :) Feel free to throw any constructive criticism or anything else, and I will try to reply to as many as I can!
