It wasn’t the kind of explosions and insane butterflies that movies so often express but it was this feeling of ‘Home’ ah this person is my home ✨ Within a year we were engaged, pregnant and embarking on making this movie together - The Ever After. A truly fast paced whirlwind of things. During filming whilst pregnant, my husband relapsed and we broke up only to get back together again to film the rest of the movie. It’s all in here- the complexity of love and addiction, vulnerability and how to be in partnership. Anyone who knows how my hubs Mark works knows that he makes truly remarkable and truthful films that are as independent as you can get. A very small crew, a small budget and a cast filled with friends- @ gemma_peanut, @ phoebejtonkin, @ missbrookestone, @ moby, @ thejoshualeonard, @ rosariodawson, @ corde_blue, @ kidcudi, @ stuartlkerr, @ tahynamacmanus, @ lukebaines and @ swrightolsen. Watching this trailer back was wild, it feels like a lifetime ago and I almost don’t recognize the people I see in this trailer but in the months leading up to my husbands new film @ figmentsoffreedom I thought reintroducing you guys to this film and the way my husband has created this niche of # realitycinema would lend itself to helping his powerful work be seen by an even wider audience.
