Broadcast: Saturday, October 22, 1977, at 8:30 p.m., on FR3 Adaptation and production by Jean-Christophe AVERTY Based on the work of Raymond ROUSSEL Music by Jean-Claude PELLETIER Several passengers on a liner, including a former star dancer from Saint Petersburg, a young soprano from Marseille, a French pistol and swordsman champion, a clown, a hypnotist, a chemist, an architect, a historian, an inventor, a citharist and a troupe of actors, following a terrible hurricane, wash up on the coasts of Africa. They are taken prisoner by the king of Ponukélé who, in exchange for their release, demands a large ransom. They decide to found the Club des Incomparables and to prepare a party while waiting for their release.
