A SpaceX rocket carrying the first Saudi woman astronaut has blasted off on a mission to the International Space Station. Sponsored by the Saudi Arabian government, Rayyanah Barnawi, a stem cell researcher, is the first woman from the kingdom to go to space. She was joined by Ali al-Qarni, a fighter pilot with the Royal Saudi Air Force. The ticket-holding crew also includes former NASA Astronaut Peggy Whitson, who is making her fourth trip to the ISS, and US businessman John Shoffner. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Freedom over censorship, truth over narrative.
