A Russian agent has been detained by Ukraine's security service (SBU) for allegedly preparing a missile attack on Kyiv. The SBU said the 23-year-old suspect worked for the main directorate of Russia's Armed Forces. The SBU said the Russian agent had sought out the locations of Ukraine's Defence Forces in the capital region. Russian assault Ka-52 helicopters shot down in Ukraine were manufactured using foreign high-tech components, Kyiv has claimed. Russian assault helicopters contain “high-tech components“ from “Western and Asian countries,“ he added. Germany has delivered two more IRIS-T air defence systems to Ukraine, as per reports. The UK Defence Ministry has signed three contracts, worth over £90 million, to in provide Ukraine with air defence equipment. Russia's Defence Ministry says its forces had succeeded with an offensive in Ukraine's Donetsk region, as per RIA Novosti. Former French President Nicolas Sarkozy has been condemned for suggesting a referendum in occupied Ukrainian territories. The Azov Brigade, which has been under scrutiny in the past for neo-Nazi ties, is reportedly back on the frontline.
