Performance 10 November 2023 The Moroccan singer and singer-songwriter Nabyla Maan is one of the great contemporary interpreters of the classical Arabo-Andalusian repertoire. She owes her immense popularity to her innovative view on this music. She sings with a crystal clear voice and exhibits high musical quality. Together with the Amsterdam Andalusian Orchestra she takes the audience on a journey through the Maghreb. They perform songs from Andalusi, malhoun, gharnati and chaabi music in a contemporary way. Nabyla Maan Nabyla Maan grew up in an environment full of Moroccan traditional music. At the age of 19, she was the youngest Arab/African artist ever to perform at the Olympia in Paris.
