Several thousand protesters marched through Calais on Saturday, the demonstration was organised by Parisian based humanitarian and social groups who rallied to support migrants living in squalid conditions in Calais’ infamous ’jungle’ camp. Activists started their march from the ’Jungle’ camp and carried on towards the cities town center. A high police presence were monitoring the march as authorities have bolstered security in the region. British Labor leader Jeremy Corbyn was also present in the regio
