Custom-made Circassian Costumes in Circassia How to get an exquisite Circassian costume made exactly to your order, and get acquainted with Circassian culture and folklore first hand at the same time. Journalist Evgeny Krivtsov visits Kabarda to order a traditional Circassian costume from the famous Circassian fashion designer Madina Saralhp (Саралъп Мадинэ). After taking his measurements, Saralhp presents him with a book on the Circassian Nart Epos. Whilst the costume is being made, Evgeny travels across Kabarda, in the trail of the mighty Narts, and samples some aspects of Circassian culture and folklore. He rides a Kabardian horse, joins a band of Circassian minstrels in a Circassian guest-house, enjoys the legendary Caucasian hospitality, takes a Circassian dancing lesson, etc. Broadcast by Channel 1, 2016.
