Fairey Swordfish Diorama - Bismarck attack

Lt. Commander E. Esmonde's Fairey Swordfish on the flight deck taking off to attack the Bismarck. Using dc motors, leds and microprocessors, this diorama replicates some of the sounds and motions of the “Stringbag“ in action. The audio track features several Swordfish starting up then taking off. After suspending some disbelief, the Swordfish returns to land, then shutdown.
