VW POLO MK1 16V | Stefan Willkomm | VWHome | 4K

Today the MK1 Polo is a super rare car. Stefan’s Polo was built in 1981, but has to get a fresh paintwork in dark moss green pearl effect, underbody, wheel arches, and so many details included. The stock engine was changed to a 16v Polo 6N one and all parts are chrome-plated, plastic parts are painted. The engine bay is completely clean without heating, expansion tank, bulkhead and all cables laid out of sight. The battery moved and lives now in the trunk. An Airride suspension from TA in conjunction with Level IQ control was added. The original brakes were changed to 256 mm in the front and the rear axle updated to disc brake. And of course all brake and axle parts were chrome-plated. BBS RM024 with 165 40 16 tyres on it create a perfect retro setup. On the interior Stefan added nappa leather from a BMW on MK3 Golf Recaro seats in the front and a seat bench with headrests in the rear. Aswell as the car the BBS steering wheel and a Digifiz speedometer are the rare details that make a difference.
