Obviously, the answer is no. Then why is condemning the Israeli government always equated with hating Jewish people? Pan-Africanist Julius Malema recently told a crowd this occurs not because accusers are unaware the link is mistaken or false. Rather, it is a deliberate effort to gag condemnation of the Zionist state’s atrocities. Malema hammered this point home in a speech delivered 9 November at the launch of the Pan African Institute near the Kenyan capital of Nairobi. Malema, who is president of South Africa’s Economic Freedom Fighters party, also told Africans the best way to honour those who lost their lives to slavery and colonial oppression is to continue fighting for the unity and advancement of African people around the world.
