In this tutorial I show you how I made a fairy boot house lamp using nothing but a coca cola plastic bottle, tin foil, paint, hot glue, copper wire and paper clay. This is a great way to teach children about recycling and also stimulate their creativity and imagination. I started by cutting the coke bottle in two pieces. I glued the pieces and used the upper part of the bottle to make the front of the boot and the bottom part to make the rest of it. As usual I add volume and elements to the house using tin foil. I then cover the foil with paper clay. I draw on the wet clay where the windows will be. Keep in mind that this will be a lamp so it would be nice to have lots of windows all around. You can work in one layer or, if you are a beginner you should work in two layers, one for covering the surface and the second one for the details like wood texture, bark, mushroom chimneys and stones.
