2021 - a year of new beginnings, new lives and so much passion, but also a year of loss and death. 2021 has been a year full of changes. In March I bought a calf, Alva. I then started to rescue the calves around her in the dairy farm. I got to know amazing people who helped me and the calves. In April my beloved cow Klara died after a long journey of suffering. She couldn’t stand up anymore and died after one week of lying on the ground. I cared for as good as I could. It has been - although it was very painful for both of us - a beaitiful jouney and time and I am really happy, that I had the chance to be by her side during this time. I know Klara since I am four years old, so it was hard for me to let her go at first. But I let her go with a good feeling and I think that Klara could die peacefully. One month later, my eldest cow Edda Julie died from age weaknes. She was already 19 years old and just fell to sleep peacefully. She lived with my other cows Maíra Nora, Fiene and Billy (
