Rock n' Roll Racing (1993) real time comparison. Developer: Silicon & Synapse. Publisher: Interplay Entertainment, Namco (Japan). SNes version Pros: - Fluid animations. - Special effects. - Biggest sprites. Genesis version Pros: - Best in-game screen resolution (320 x 224). Menu screen resolution is the same in both systems (256 x 224). - It's always challenging - on any level, with more obstacles in track (oil, mines and tire spikes). SNes Cons: - Slow screen fade transitions. Genesis Cons: - The cars ares extremely fragily, and blow up after a few coliisions. - The handling are extremaly sensible (as if the L/R shoulder buttons were always pressed). - The announcer's (Larry) comments pause the music. This limits the excitement of the game. Technical specifications: ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ SUPER NINTENDO ------------------------------ R
