PAINTING VIDEO DESCRIPTION – Are you a beginner painter? Want to learn how to paint with acrylics? Looking for an easy Easter painting idea? Let me be your acrylic art instructor as I teach you easy step-by-step instructions throughout this fun beginner art video as you learn how to paint a dog with bunny ears on its head while holding an Easter basket filled with Easter eggs in its mouth—a fun animal portrait “Easter Bunny Best Friend”. What comes to mind when you think of Easter? Commemorating the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, sharing a family meal on a Sunday afternoon, going to Church, decorating eggs, smelling beautiful flowers, hiding candy around the house for the kids to find, enjoying the Spring weather, dressing your pet to look like the Easter bunny? Well, this painting has it all and it’s perfect for welcoming in the spring season and all the joy and happiness that comes with it! You’ll learn how to paint this playful rendition of Man’s Best Friend dressed up as an Easter Bunny holding a basket of multicolored ornamental Easter Eggs in his mouth, as he sits patiently and looks up at you with his cute puppy dog eyes waiting for approval. First, you’ll learn how to use simple painting techniques for blending the background for added depth and atmospheric dimension and bokeh dots, using bright pastel colors creating an Easter and springtime feel to your canvas. Then, after drawing and outlining basic shapes to give your pet, eggs, ears and basket, form and structure, you’ll apply a simple base coat as a foundation for the painting process. You'll then create realistic looking dimension with properly placed highlights and shadows, followed by layering colors to give your pooch texture and fluffy fur on his head, face and body. You will learn how to paint details on his long floppy bunny ears, basket, grass and Easter eggs, giving everything on the canvas a good perspective and realistic 3-D effect like a photograph. Make your spaniel puppy come alive with just a few colors, strokes, and marks. You can personalize the type of dog and paint a golden retriever, beagle, Labrador, German Shepard, French bulldog, Pug, Bassett Hound or poodle. Instead of Easter eggs in a basket, maybe you paint your woofer holding a box or a bag of marshmallow peeps, Reese’s peanut butter eggs, Jelly Beans, dog treats, a chocolate bunny or Cadbury Eggs. Maybe you paint spring flowers, such as, tulips, roses, pansies, or daffodils. The painting process is so simple you’ll feel like it's a paint by numbers. Using only 3 brushes and 7 colors, you’ll paint like a professional! Have a date night at home, paint party, paint and sip event, or virtual paint night. Paint with gouache, oil paint, or watercolor, any medium will work! Paint just for fun or for art therapy. It's an easy art project where you can learn how to paint everything Easter: bunny ears, Easter basket, colorful eggs, and, of course, a cute puppy. I hope you enjoy watching this YouTube art video and let's get painting and let's get sipping!
