The director of the Secret Service is actually trying to argue that snipers on sloped roofs are too dangerous…for the snipers, but also only on roofs in close proximity and with a direct line of sight to Donald Trump. The “sloped” roof where the shooter was able to engage in his assassination attempt is far less sloped than the one with secret service snipers. Little kids could’ve got on that roof.
